While Jesus is preparing heaven for us, we are preparing to be ready to go and live with Him! Jesus has promised to come back and take us to live with Him forever in heaven. Every day we will see His face. That will be wonderful, won’t it? Until that happens, we can prepare for that meeting by praying and living in a way that makes Him happy. We also need to read the Bible and do the things Jesus teaches us to do—help others, be happy, and share His story with others. That way, they too can go to heaven with the Lord.
